Hello there! I’m Kelly Berger, and I’ve been shaking up the bookkeeping world since 2009—one spreadsheet at a time. Welcome to my corner of the internet where numbers meet nuance, and community is king.

My Journey & Achievements

I’ve worn many hats in my career—five businesses’ worth, to be exact. Most recently, I sold my very own bookkeeping business for a cool $200,000. But it’s not just about the numbers for me. It’s about transforming the way bookkeepers approach their work and lives.

In 2017, I decided to create what I like to call a virtual water cooler for bookkeepers—The Bookkeepers Support group. What began as a modest gathering has now blossomed into a thriving community of over 8,000 members, along with specialised groups for students and accountants, each hosting 2,800 members. It’s a space where we tackle bookkeeping conundrums and share a laugh or two, or comiserate over bookkeeping challenges so we don’t feel quite so alone.

Educational Background & Expertise

With over 17 years in the bookkeeping trenches, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, a Diploma in Project Management, and a Diploma in Financial Services under my belt, I’m here to make your bookkeeping journey a little less daunting and a lot more rewarding.

The Authentic Me

Life hasn’t always been a straight line. Living with ADHD and raising two amazing neurodiverse kids, I’ve faced my fair share of challenges, including battling burnout and learning to navigate perimenopause. Yet, each twist and turn has taught me the importance of balancing work with living life fully. I get it—juggling family, health, and career can feel like a high-wire act.

I’m on a mission to help bookkeepers grow their businesses. I believe in the power of resilience, community, and finding that sweet spot between work and life. So, why not join me in this adventure? Together, we’ll transform your bookkeeping business and your life.

I’m Kelly’s sister, but I’m not the numbers kid in our family. I’m the website builder, copywriter, content creator, editor, graphic designer, and PDF maker in the background who helps turn Kelly’s amazing ideas and content into beautiful, valuable pieces of work for you! 

I also dabble in marketing and am here to bring my basket of multi-talented goodies to help Kelly continue to build something that makes a positive difference to the bookkeepers of the world. 

With a background in coaching (life, relationships and business) and growing businesses, I sometimes bring my wisdom into the Pro Membership space too.
